The project is located on I-75 from 6-Mile Road to 8-Mile Road, in the City of Detroit, in Wayne County, Michigan.
General Project Description:
This project involves the design of an ITS system that can improve mobility, safety, and optimize corridor capacity in the Metro Region area. The system consists of but is not limited to Microwave Vehicle Detections Systems (MVDS’s), Dynamic Message Signs (DMS’s), ITS Cabinets, Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV’s), communication equipments and other necessary devices for the system.
Description of Survey Pick-up Performed:
The survey scope of work assigned to Advanced Geomatics for this project consisted full topographic mapping along I-75 from 6-Mile Road to 8-Mile Road, in the City of Detroit, in Wayne County, Michigan. Survey tasks completed by AG for this project consisted of:

Establishing intermediate horizontal control points and vertical control bench marks.

Re-established the non-legal alignment for service drives and ramps.

Recovered and located PLSS/government corners crossing the project alignment.

Provided all final survey deliverables including CAD files on CD Rom.
